SQE1 Exemption Support

To qualify for an exemption, you must demonstrate that:

Your qualifications and/or experience cover the legal areas assessed in SQE1 FLK1 and/or FLK2.

The law you’re qualified in or have practised is not significantly different from the law of England and Wales in these areas.

Exemptions from SQE1 are rarely granted due to the high level of knowledge and experience required. Our service fee is £5,000, and we will assist only after confirming that the candidate meets the necessary threshold. Please book a one-hour consultation to discuss further.

Common hurdles candidates face when applying for an SQE2 exemption

Complex Eligibility Criteria: Understanding the specific requirements for eligibility can be confusing, as the criteria often vary depending on qualifications, experience, and jurisdiction.

Uncertainty About Required Documents: Identifying and gathering the correct supporting documents, such as work references, certificates, or transcripts, can be challenging and time-consuming.

Presenting Experience Effectively: Candidates often struggle to present their legal experience in a way that aligns with the SQE competencies required for exemption.

Lengthy Application Process: The exemption application process can be lengthy and may involve multiple rounds of clarification, further extending the timeline.

Potential for Application Rejection: Due to incomplete documentation or insufficiently detailed evidence, applications may be rejected, requiring appeals or re-application, leading to further delays.

Lack of Clear Guidance: Many candidates face difficulties finding clear, reliable guidance on the steps needed for a successful exemption application.
